JAMMU, Dec 13: A kitchen was damaged in fire at Camp Gole Gujaral area, falling under the jurisdiction of Pounichak Police Post.
As per police spokesman, at around 10 am today, a person namely Harmeet Singh, son of Sewa Singh of Camp Gole Gujaral reported to Police Post Pounichak that fire broke out in the kitchen of his house and the gas cylinders kept in the kitchen also caught fire.
Acting swiftly, a team from Police Post Pounichak headed by SI Arun Slathia reached the spot and with the assistance of fire services, the fire was brought under control.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Pounichak police has taken cognizance in this regard.
