DODA, Feb 22: Gandoh police rescued a kidnapped girl and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, a family hailing from Malanoo area of Tehsil Kahar lodged a complaint with police station Gandoh on January 30 stating that their daughter has been kidnapped by Naveed Ahmed, son of Azad Hussain of Thathri.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 8/17 under Section 363 and 109 RPC was registered at police station Gandoh and investigation started.
On specific information, a team from Gandoh police station conducted raid at Jammu and rescued the kidnapped girl. The accused was also arrested by the police.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
