Kichloo, Vibodh among 7 speak on Guv’s Address

JAMMU, Jan 3: National Conference member Sajjad Kichloo, BJP member Vibodh Gupta among seven members opened their discussion on Governor’s Address in the Upper House today.
While Kichloo described the address as merely paper work by the PDP-BJP Government, Vibodh while projecting achievements regretted that there was no commitment about tourism development in Jammu region  specially Rajouri-Poonch and Basohli-Bani  and Bhaderwah. Gupta also pointed out about 4-lanning of  Rajouri- Poonch highway and said that there was no mention it  the Address. He also referred to the compensation to the DPs of PoK and West Pak Refugees  and delimitation of Assembly constituencies. He lauded the enhancement in the ex-gratia /relief.
Kichloo, exposed the Government on issue of setting up of Cancer hospital, five medical colleges, development of Tawi on the pattern of Sabarmati River Front and so on and said that Government has totally failed on all the fronts. He said the condition of roads in Chenab region was worst, power and electricity supply was grim. The Government has only making false claims.
Khursheed Alam, Ajatshatru Singh, Surinder Choudhary,  Yasir Reshi and Vikram Randhawa  lauded   the Government policies and works and claimed that present Government under Mehbooba Mufti was doing its best to solve people’s miseries.
Surinder Chaudhary said that helicopter service has been introduced in Kishtwar, Poonch and many other areas by this Government. Condition of many roads improved and opposition has made habit of looking only at one side, ignoring the other.
