Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Sept 1: Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) in its Executive body meeting here today held under the chairmanship of M L Thusoo, criticized the unwarranted activities of separatists and anti nationals in Kashmir Valley.
Mr Thusoo said these elements have always played with the sentiments of the people at the behest of Pakistan and ISI. He said harping Pakistan and Azadi is just day dreaming.
He said such elements have played with the interests of the people and axed the smooth career of the students who are under study in different parts of the country.
Addressing the meeting P L Koul Budgami, convener of the KHC said that the Kashmir issue was settled and no struggle will get legitimacy as the Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah who was the leader of masses had signed the instrument of accession with India in 1947 rejecting the two nation theory and Pakistan. This accession was strengthened by second generation leadership of NC led by Dr Farooq Abdullah as well as third generation leadership of the Party led by Omar Abdullah who also joined the BJP led Government at Centre.
Terming accession final, Budgami criticized Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah for calling BJP a communal Party despite the fact that he too was a minister for about four years in that Government .
KHC leaders appealed the majority community of Kashmir to go through the world politics syndrome and the worst ever political crisis in Pakistan and they should not fall prey to power hungry politicians but join the national mainstream for the development of the State as a whole.
