JAMMU, July 31: MLC, Charanjeet Singh Khalsa distributed 25 LPG connections under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojna at Gobindpura Chatha for the welfare of families living under Below Poverty Line (BPL) in the concerning areas.
The people complimented and honoured Khalsa for this major concern shown by him for poor people of the area. Khalsa said that we all should be thankful to Prime Minister, Narendra Modi who launched various public welfare schemes which have completely changed the life of poor section of the society.
Inhabitants of the area highlighted other problems regarding the lanes and water and Khalsa directed the concerned departments for the early redressal of these problems and assured the residents that he will try to solve all their problems as BJP works with the slogan of ‘Sab Ka Sath Sab Ka Vikas’ till the fulfilment of the need of the last man standing in the last queue.
A deputation of widows of the area also approached to Khalsa for the financial assistance and pension for which the MLC assured the ladies that he will try to solve their problems as soon as possible.
Pardeep Kour, Bharat Bhushan Jatinder Singh Lucky Amrik Singh Bitta (Members Cantonment Board), Hardev Singh (VC Cantonment Board), Ashok Khajuria (Spokesperson BJP), Pitambar Sharma (Incharge Ujjwala Yojna), Dr. Happy (vice president Satwari Mandal BJP), Lucky Ji, Ashok Ranyal, Kuldeep Raj Pinta, Rinku Chauhan and others were present on the occasion.
