Khalsa Club lifts 3rd Sikh Premier title trophy

JAMMU, Nov 4: Khalsa Cricket Club (KCC) registered win over Junior Khalsa Cricket Club (JKCC) by 1 wicket and lifted the title trophy of the 3rd Sikh Premier League at Baba Jhulla ground Camp Gole Gujral Jammu.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, JKCC scored 139 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs. Navjot scored 36 runs, while Ranjandeep Singh and Kawalpreet made 27 and 25 runs respectively.
For KCC, Harinderpal Singh and Kulwinder Singh scalped 2 wickets each, while Gurpreet Singh took one wicket.
In reply, KCC chased the target in the last over by losing 9 wickets. Sukhjinder Singh made 29 runs, while Harpreet Singh and Amandeep Singh made 26 and 25 runs respectively.
For JKCC, Gangandeep Singh scalped 3 wickets, while Pushpinder Singh took 2 wickets and Jatinder Singh pocketed 1 wicket.
The match was officiated by Davinder Singh and Sukhvinder Singh as umpires, while Rupinder Singh maintained the scorecard.
On the valedictory function, Satish Sharma, senior Congress leader was the chief guest, who awarded the winner and runner-up teams along with Jarnail Singh from Peaks Automobiles.
The tournament was organized by Khalsa Cricket Club.
