Khajuria justifies demands of industries employees

JAMMU, Mar 15: Justifying the demands of the industries employees of the State, senior BJP leader and MLC Ashok Khajuria has urged the Government to settle the long pending demands of these employees who have been eluding justice for a long time.
Khajuria was talking to the members of J&K Industries Employees Association here today who also submitted a memorandum seeking his intervention in settling their long pending demands.
The members of the Association who brought the demands in notice of Khajuria included Sheikh Reyaz Ahmed, S N Thapar, Ramesh Chander, H S Jamwal, Kuldeep Kumar, Ashok Gupta, B L Sher and others.
They informed Khajuria that the Government Order Number 219 Ind of 2002 where under pension benefits stand released in favour of about 200 employees of the industry has not been implemented despite the directions of various courts.
Khajuria assured them that he will take up the issue with the concerned ministry to get the issue settled.
