SAMBA, Feb 21: Defeating Chandan Football Club Thalora by two goals to nil (2-0) in the summit clash, Kehli Mandi Football Club won the title trophy of the Football Tournament, organized by Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) at Sports Stadium, here.
The Tournament was organized under the supervision of RK Bhumbla, DIG SSB Sector Headquarter Srinagar and Manvendra Negi, DIG SSB Sector Headquarter, Jammu.
MLA Samba, DK Manyal was the chief guest on the closing ceremony, who distributed trophies and cash among the winners and runners-up teams on the occasion. The trophy and a cashj prize of Rs 20,000 was presented to Kehli Mandi Football Club, while the trophy and a cash prize of Rs 10,000 was given away to the runners-up team.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Neeraj Thapa, Deputy Commandant, Ravi Shankar Kumar, Assistant Commandant, Rajesh Kapoor Assistant Commandant and Sunil Kumar, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Samba.
SB Chand, Officiating Commandant presented vote of thanks.
