KCPS students to attend Round Square Int’l Conference in SA

JAMMU, Sept 27: Two Class XI students of KCPS, namely, Saarthak Gupta and Karan Dhar will attend the annual Round Square International Conference 2017 scheduled to be held at Cape Town, South Africa from September 30 to October 5, 2017.
They are being escorted by School Round Square Representative Sonia Thakur and CCA Coordinator Shobna Sethi.
This is the first international RS Conference for students and teachers of KCPS since its induction into the fraternity of 180 Round Square schools worldwide and the only RS member school from J&K.
KCPS delegation is leaving Jammu for Cape Town on September 29 and will be back on October 6. The Conference is being hosted jointly by three leading RS member schools from Cape Town, namely, St George’s Grammar School, St Cyprian’s School and Bridge House School. St George’s Grammar School will play host for the delegates from KCPS.
Some of the leading Indian schools attending this Conference are Doon School, Mayo College (both girls and boys), Daly College, Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Scindia School, Shri Ram School and Welham Boys’ School.
School Chairman Raju Chowdhary, Round Square School Governor Arti Chowdhary and Principal AK Mishra wished the students good luck.
