JAMMU, Apr 20: With a view to enhance the level of excellence in sports among students of KC Public School, KC Sports Club and KCPS have struck an alliance for the new academic year 2017-18 .
In addition to utilizing the sports facilities available in the school, KCPS students would now avail of the world class indoor sporting facilities at KC Sports Club free of cost.
All expenses related to the collaboration would be borne by the school. The facilities include indoor Cricket, Swimming, Table Tennis, Gymnastics, Martial Arts, Yoga, Squash and Rock Climbing.
The in-house professional Coaches in all these sporting disciplines have started their intensive coaching sessions from day one in their quest to identify and nurture talented boys and girls of the school and prepare them for a wide spectrum of sporting competitions held every year at district, State, national and international levels.
Arjun Chowdhary, Managing Director of KC Sports Club is quite emphatic about his mission to offer the youth of J&K the best possible infrastructural and training facilities in all major games and sports and feels strongly that students of KC Public School owing to their proximity to the Club would be able to pursue their dreams of excellence in sports through this joint initiative taken by the school and the Club.
Mr Arjun added that additional coaching classes arranged by the Club during routine games periods would have a salutary effect on the level of their performance in the forthcoming sports competitions.
