KCC&I organizes Handicraft Exhibition

SRINAGAR, Feb 23: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCC&I) organized an exhibition “Kashmir Pavilion” at Indian Handicraft Gift Fair (IHGF) in collaboration with Export Promotion Council Handicraft with the sponsorship of Development Commissioner Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles at Greater Noida today.
KCC&I in a statement said the event is aimed at exposing the Kashmir Handicraft all the way possible to help grow and contribute to the prosperity of the handicraft artisans and the related manufacturers, traders and exporters.
He said the four day exhibition was inaugurated by Anant Kumar Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles and Javid Ahmad Tenga, President, KCC&I along with his team of office bearers is personally supervising the event.
“All the Handicraft products of the State are on display and live demonstration by the artisans at the fair,” he said.
“J&K Tourism is also participating in the event with the depiction and display of cultural activities and tourism potential of the state and KCC&I is regularly on watch out to ensure participation of Kashmir handicraft manufacturers, traders and exporters in national and international level handicraft exhibitions,” he added.
