KC Sports Academy, KCCC register wins

JAMMU, Nov 13: KC Sports Academy and KCCC registered wins and entered into the next stage of the league round of the ongoing 7th Eid-Diwali Milan Cricket Club, being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with Simula Cricket Club, KC Sports Club and Vishal Cricket Club at Parade ground, here today.
In today’s matches, SSP Rajesh Sharma SO to IGP Jammu was the chief guest who interacted with the participating teams and wished them good luck.
In the first match, KC Sports Academy defeated Kashmir Happenings by 7 wickets. Batting first Kashmir Happenings Eleven scored 162 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs game. Adil scored 41 runs, Sam made 36 runs and Faizan made 28 runs.
From bowling side, Shivam and Vikas took 2 wickets each, while Ritik and Shuvam took 1 wicket apiece.
In reply, KC Sports Academy chased the target in 19.2 overs for the loss of 3 wickets thus won the match by 7 wickets. Shivam made 58 runs, Shubam chipped in 41 runs and Vikas scored 34 runs.
For Kashmir Happenings Eleven, Adil, Sam and Waseen took 1 wicket each.
Shivam was adjudged as Man of the Match for his brilliant half century.
In another match, KCCC outplayed Saffron Cricket Club by 83 runs. Batting first, KCCC scored 193 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Kaniya played a magnificent inning of 88 runs, while Manik Gupta chipped in 34 runs and Dikshant scored 26 runs.
From bowling side, Aqib took 3 wickets and Ayush scalped 1 wicket.
In reply, Saffron Cricket Club could not chase the target and bundled out at 110 runs in 16.2 overs by losing all wickets thus lost the match by 83 runs. Ayush scored 44 runs, Aqib made 25 runs and Vinayak chipped in 17 runs.
For KCCC, Manik Gupta and Vishal took 2 wickets each, while Kunal, Salaria, Abhay, Bandral and Somay scalped 1 wicket each.
Kaniya was adjudged as Man of the Match for his batting performance.
The matches were officiated by Ashok Kumar, Sanju and Vijay.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Sai Cricket Club will take on Raja Warriors, while WCC will lock horns with Reasi Royals.
