KC International donates for HelpAge India

JAMMU, June 7:   The students of KC International School raised Rs 2, 52,190 for HelpAge India.
The cheque was presented by the Vice Chairman, Chaitanya Chowdhary to Sunita Santoshi, State manager HelpAge India in presence of School Principal, Subhendu Sarkar and Activity Coordinator, Rajni Malhotra.
HelpAge India is a registered National Level non-governmental, non-profitable, charitable Organization with its Head Office at New Delhi, having 36 branches across India.
Since its inception in 1978 to till date the organization has supported more than 3000 Age Care projects which cost around 200 corers. These projects include Old Age Homes, Day Care Centers, Physiotherapy centers, Help lines, Cataract Surgeries, Adopt a Granny Programme, Income Generation Programme and Relief and Rehabilitation work in case of natural calamities, Mobile Medicare Units and Advocacy Programmes.
