JAMMU, Dec 7: KC Gurukul celebrated its 18th Annual Day with pomp and show at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium, here today.
Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly was the chief guest on the occasion, while JP Singh, IGP was the guest of honour.
Arvind Mahajan, School Chairman and Principals of reputed schools were present on the occasion.
The programme was based on the theme ‘Anubhopti’ commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, which was followed by Ganesh Vandana, giving devotional touch to the celebration.
Students presented a variety of cultural items including ‘Bhangra’ which stole the show.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest appreciated the school for providing quality education and organizing quality events.
Earlier, Academic Director of the School presented welcome address, while the Headmistress Neera Dogra presented annual report of the school, highlighting its achievements.
Chairman, Mr Mahajan presented vote of thanks.
