Katra-Kalka train from today

JAMMU, May 29:  Much awaited bi-weekly special train between Kalka in Haryana and Katra will be launched tomorrow by the Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu.
This bi-weekly special train,  4503/14504, will have a regular run from  Kalka to Katra on Tuesday and Friday  and from Katra  to Kalka on Wednesday and Saturday.
Taking off from Kalka at 1900 hrs, this train will reach Jammu at 0235  hrs next morning and after a brief halt of ten minutes here, it will further reach Udhampur at 0345 hrs and finally at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 0445 hrs.
For the departure, this train will leave from Katra at 2130 hrs and reach Kalka on the next day at 0750 hrs.  While covering the distance between Kalka and Katra, the train will pass through Chandigarh,  Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, New Morinda, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt and  Pathankot Cantt besides Jammu and Udhampur.
Inaugural run of the train will take place tomorrow at 1340 hrs at Kalka Railway Station. Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will flag off the train with remote from Kulu in Himachal Pradesh.
It may be recalled that this special train was announced more than two years back by then Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal but could not be formally introduced till date.
