Kashmir records sub zero temps

SRINAGAR, Nov 23: The minimum temperature in Kashmir today dropped below zero degree Celsius with Leh recording the coldest place of the State at minus 13.5 Degree Celsius.
Leh was the coldest town in the State at minus 13.5 while Kargil recorded minus 9 as the night’s lowest temperature, a Met department official said.
Pahalgam recorded minus 5.7 while Gulmarg recorded minus 5.4 as the minimum temperature.
Qazigund, Kokernag and Kupwara recorded minus 22, 0.5, 2.7 degree Celsius respectively while Srinagar froze at minus 2.3 Degree Celsius.
Srinagar recorded maximum of 11.8 degree Celsius while Qazigund, Kokernag and Kupwara recorded 11.2, 10.4 and 11.2 degree Celsius respectively.
