Kashmir Harvard drubs RP School, enters semis

SRINAGAR, June 5: Kashmir Harvard Educational Institute defeated RP School by 9 wickets in the match of the Kashmir Harvard U-16 Inter-School cricket tournament at TRC Ground, here today.
With this win Kashmir Harvard has booked place in the semifinal of the event.
Earlier, batting first, RP School scored 91 runs for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Sibtain (25) was the top scorer, while Manan contributed 16 runs to the total. Faiq took three wickets for Harvard, while Sarib, Sahil and Kaleem took one wicket each.
In reply, Kashmir Harvard chased the target easily in 12 overs by losing 1 wicket, thus won the match by 9 wickets. Asrar top scored with 33 runs, while Yasir remained unbeaten on 26 runs. For RP, Amir took one wicket. Faiq was adjudged as the man of the match.
The event is being organized by State Cricket Academy of Sports Council in collaboration with Amblin and is being sponsored by Kashmir Harvard, J&K Bank and Unibic Biscuits.
