Srinagar, Nov 16: A Filmmaker, Yuvraj Kumar, who is here for the shooting of his upcoming movie, “Kashmir, The Final Resolution”, said that Kashmir is an amazing place to shoot for the filmmakers.
Kumar while speaking to Daily Excelsior said that Kashmir is an amazing place for shooting movies because the scenery and Landscape here is very much beautiful.
Praising the hospitality of the people here, Kumar said that people of the valley are helpful and everyone is very cooperative. “We are very happy here, everyone is passionate and people are very helpful as well. People are more cooperative because of the title of the movie,” he said.
Kumar who is from Mumbai said it took him two and a half years to research for the movie and he wants to convey to the world through his movie that the Kashmir issue will be solved peacefully. “It took me two and half years to research for the movie and then the script was written. This movie deals with the resolution of Kashmir keeping all stakeholders in mind. I want to convey through my movie that the Kashmir issue will be solved through brainstorming and we can have a peaceful solution to it,” he said.
Kumar said the movie will be released next year and almost 70 percent of the movie will be shot in the valley and remaining part in Himachal and Mumbai, adding, “about 80 percent of the artists in the movie are from Kashmir.”
