KAS aspirants for rescheduling papers

JAMMU, Mar 12: The KAS aspirants in an appeal to Public Service Commission, (PSC) Chairman have demanded rescheduling of examination of KAS Main papers of Public Administration and Political Science to be held on first Navratra which is a State Holiday and one of the sacred festivals of Hindus.
In a statement issued here, today they said that the first Navratra being a pious festival and Hindus observing the fast on that day who also remain busy in performing religious rituals hence the papers be postponed to other alternative day.
They said that last time on March,1 the PSC was going to conduct the examination which was the Holi festival and under the public pressure the paper was rescheduled.  The aspirants made an appeal to Chairman JKPSC to look into this genuine issue and postpone the papers of two subjects on first Navratra falling on March 18.
