Karan becomes 1st National Cricket Team Physio from J&K

*Accompanies Indian Team for U-23 Asia Cup

JAMMU, Mar 23: The BCCI Level-1 Physiotherapist, Karan Nayyar has become the 1st National Cricket Team Physio when he accompanied the Indian Team for ACC Emerging team Asia Cup 2017, being held from March 25 to April 4, 2017 at Bangladesh.
29-year old Karan has been deputed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) as a Physio of India Under-23 Cricket team, which will witness the participation of 8 teams including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afganistan, Nepal, Malaysia and Hongkong.
It is pertinent to mention here that the BCCI has earlier appointed Karan as physio for India Under-9 team for challenger trophy which was held at Bilaspur (HP) in October 2016.
Karan has the distinction of working with many State and National Level Players, who have brought name and fame at the International scene also.
Presently Karan is working with Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association and has already undertaken various assignments of JKCA in junior as well as in senior age groups viz- Under-14, Under-19 and Under-22 etc.
Karan has also honour of working with Jammu and Kashmir Football Association and IS a certified Sports Physio from Asian Football Confederation.
The officials of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association said that Karan’s induction as BCCI Physio is not the proud moment for JKCA only but the entire State.
