Kaneez Fatima discusses plans for future activities of IOWA

A meeting of IOWA being held at Jammu on Wednesday.

JAMMU, Nov 27: A meeting of J&K IAS Officers Wives Association (IOWA) was held under the chairmanship of Kaneez Fatima wife of Iqbal Khandey, the Chief Secretary here today.
The meeting was organized by new Secretary of the Association  Arunama Sinha wife of  Shantmanu, Divisional Commissioner Jammu.
The meeting was attended by members including the founding members Vineeta Bakaya and Mrs. Kundal.
The chairperson motivated the members to work jointly for the betterment of the weaker sections of the society especially women and children. She assured full cooperation in extending legal aid to the needy. The Association passed a resolution that every endeavor would be made to ensure complete cooperation from the administration for the cause.
Mrs. Sinha welcomed all participants and presented the agenda which included, raising funds for the Red Cross Society through Red Cross Mela being held during mid December.
A stress elimination workshop would be held for the members from 29th November, 2013.
The Association appreciated the contributions of outgoing Secretary, Sapna Aggarwal.
