JWAM holds protest against ERA

JAMMU, Jan 2: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) held protest against Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA).
The workers of JWAM assembled near Tali Morh and raised slogans against ERA. The protesters also disrupted the vehicular movement for sometime.
While speaking, President of JWAM Sunil Dimple demanded resignation of MLA Jammu West for not carrying out development works in the constituency.
Dimple alleged the West Assembly Constituency has become the backward constituency of the State, adding that all the important projects of the West Constituency have been left abandoned.
He said that the sewerage works carried out by ERA have damaged all the roads of the West Constituency. The dirty water coming out of the main holes is entering into the houses, thereby creating every possibility of health hazards.
Dimple demanded CBI probe into the funds spent for the development of the constituency.
He urged the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to make Jammu a smart city, solve the traffic problem in Jammu city and start the construction of flyovers at Rehari Chungi and Jewal Chowk.
Among others present were Partap Singh, Manohar Singh, Mangu Singh, Manohar Singh, Jeeta Kumar, etc.
