JAMMU, Mar 10: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today held a protest against Government move to change demography of Jammu.
Addressing the protesters, Sunil Dimple, JWAM president, said that any move to undermine Jammu’s age old distinct identity and personality will be defeated comprehensively. He said that the directions of the Government to the concerned officials that they shall not disturb tribal population is a part of deep rooted conspiracy hatched by certain elements to facilitate demographic changes in Jammu province and hurt the sentiments of the minority community in the State.
He threatened “Jammu Band” against the mischievous move of PDP-BJP alliance to change the demography of the Jammu region. He appealed all the political, non-political parties to get united to foil this nefarious design of the PDP and BJP.
The JWAM president threatens of “Jammu band” and said that they will not allow the State Government to create Kashmir like situation in the Jammu region.
