Jugal, Raina kick start construction of NABARD funded roads in Sunderbani

JAMMU, Aug 28:MP Jammu -Poonch, Parliamentary Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma and BJP State president and MLA , Nowshera, Ravinder Raina today kick started the construction work of two roads in Sunderbani under NABARD funding.
The MP and MLA today visited Panchayat Parat and Balshama in Sunderbani and started construction of Balshama Circle road. Besides, they laid the foundation of three km long road linking Parat to Dharun.
At Parat people welcomed the two leaders and they expressed their gratitude to them for getting the road sanctioned for the area which was a long pending demand. The people said that during last 70 years the area was totally ignored and there was no road connectivity.
Addressing the gathering Jugal Kishore said that the road will be constructed through NABARD funding and Rs 2.5 crore have been sanctioned for the same.
The two leaders also visited Balshama -Panchayat in Sunderbani and laid the foundation of Balshama Circle road also. He said the Balshama Circle road will also be funded by NABARD and Rs 2.5 crore will be spent on its construction so that the dream of people to join the area with a good road networking is fulfilled.
Jugal said that he gives top priority to the demands of the people of the area who are nationalists to core as these people facing many difficulties and hardships never compromised with national interests.
Addressing the gathering at Balshama, Ravinder Raina said that to renovate the damaged roads and to link the remote areas government has framed a policy under which crores of rupees are being spent on the construction and renovation of roads to provide better connectivity to the people. He said out of it some roads are being macadamized.
He said earlier some problems were being faced in intensification of developmental works and moreover due to ongoing Monsoon the works were not taken up in hand which will now be started on war footing basis.
Later talking to reporters Raina said no village in Sunderbani will be left behind so far as development is concerned.
The other leaders of the BJP who also spoke on the occasion included Neena Sharma , district BJP chief , Som Dutt Sharma , Sanjay Sharma, Bodh Raj Sharma and Ashok Chib.
They highlighted the various schemes launched by the BJP led Government at Centre for the welfare of the people of the State.
