JAMMU, May 13: Jugal Kishore Sharma Member of Parliament from Jammu -Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency today visited village Phallni rural part of Dharhal Constituency and laid foundation stone for the construction of road from Draj to Salhat under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna Scheme in Block Rajnagar.
The foundation of road was laid by the MP for Stage-IInd under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna Scheme .This road is stretching over a length of 9.30 kms is connecting the rural parts of Block Rajnagar in Darhal Constituency. The road will benefit more than 2000 families and it will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs.6 crore (approximately) and was the long pending demand of he villagers and provide connectivity to the rural area.
Sharma, while addressing gathering said that the Center as well as State Government is proving funds for the construction of the roads under PMGSY and PMGSY is one of the major heads which get funded last year to complete the pending projects and to start the new ones. The Central Government under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji is always ready to serve the rural area and it is the foremost duty of State Government to put up the major roads on priority to provide connectivity to the rural areas.
Ex-Minister Thakur Puran Singh complimented Member of Parliament and asked that the flower of BJP is spreading over the worldwide and everyone get a chance to connect with it. The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is taking major steps and launching various schemes for the benefit of Poor and needs of his country.
SDM Kotranka Gopal Singh,Executive Engineer PMGSY Darhal Mohd. Zubair with staff, Senior BJP leader Dev Raj, State Executive Member Bharat Bhushan Vaid, Kewal, Balbir, Ramesh and others were present on the same occasion.
