Jugal, Kavinder inaugurate additional facilities at Jammu Railway Station

JAMMU, July 9: Member Parliament Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma today reiterated his commitment to work for the betterment of the people of his Constituency.
Jugal who visited the Jammu Tawi Railway Station along with the former Deputy Chief Minister and local legislator, Kavinder Gupta inaugurated the additional facilities at Railway Station in presence of large number of political and social activists.
He dedicated newly installed escalators and elevators in addition to the Wi-Fi connectivity for the guests who visit the State regarding various purposes, most of whom come here for religious purposes.

While speaking on the occasion, Sharma said that the Railway Ministry has included the Jammu Railway Station in its ambitious Rs. one lakh crore “Station Redevelopment Project”, which is going to be beneficial not only for the localities but will give a beautiful look of the Jammu to the visiting guests.
The former DyCm said that the works approved and executed by the Modi led NDA Government speak volumes in itself. He said, the Central Government has always prioritized the development needs of the State and have provided all the necessary help for the same.
He said, the waiting time of the trains coming to the platform will be reduced with the construction of three new platforms here and with the installation of these escalators and elevators, the handicap and old age people will feel more relaxed and comfortable.
Further highlighting the works, Gupta said, only BJP took the initiatives of modernizing the railway stations, airports, bus terminals, Rural Road connectivity, highways, electrifying rural areas, HFA and others,  which were continuously neglected by the Congress Government who ruled maximum time since independence.
Ex-MLA, Bharat Bhushan, DCM Hari Mohan, ASC RPF, J.R Kundal, Station Superintendent, Ajay Gupta, ADME, Sanjeev Gupta, ADMO, Prashant Kumar, CMI, Ashwani Saini and Parshotam Singh along with other officers of Railways were present on the occasion.
