Jugal asks NC, Cong to shun divisive politics

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Jan 30: BJP State President & MLA Jugal Kishore Sharma today ridiculed the statement of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah that the party is shying away from debate on Article-370 and said that it was the BJP which challenged the votaries of Article-370 to join the debate and resolve the issue once and for all to the satisfaction of the people of the State and country as a whole.
Addressing series of party meetings at Bari Brahmana and Purmandal mandals in connection with the preparations for party’s nation-wide campaign of Modi for PM fund from 11 to 23 February, he said the BJP is convinced that the NC, Congress and other Kashmir-centric parties like the PDP, are only playing politics for promoting anti-people and anti-democratic agendas.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the BJP in the State is fighting a multi pronged war to isolate the undesirable forces, integrate the State completely with India and empower the neglected regions and the marginalized sections of the society in J&K. He claimed that it is not only the people of Jammu and Ladakh who are feeling dissatisfied with the NC-Congress Coalition Government’s social-economic, political and administrative policies but the general public in Kashmir has also fallen a victim to the anti-people policies being pursued by the ruling coalition.
BJP State Vice-President Chander Prakash Ganga, State Spokesperson Sanjiv Sharma, State Publicity Secretary Aseem Gupta, District Presidents Kashmir Singh and Keshav Dutt, State Working Committee Members Dharam Pal and Tilak Raj, Mandal President Puran Chand also addressed these meetings.
