Jugal announces Rs 10 lakh, Sofi Rs 5 lakh for community hall at Durga Nagar

JAMMU, Feb 4: Parliament Member and senior BJP leader, Jugal Kishore Sharma announced Rs 10 lakh from his MP LAD Fund for construction of a community hall at Durga Nagar.

Addressing a public meeting at Durga Nagar organized by BJP Displaced District Durga Mandal today, he said that BJP’s mantra for good governance is Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and serving to last man in the last cue. The Party is committed to these two Mantras given by Prime Minster Narendra Modi and former Jana Sangh president and a veteran leader Pt. Deendayal Upadayay.
He assured the gathering that the problems faced by the residents of Ward Number 64 will be solved by the State Government. He also highlighted various policies and programmes of Modi Government launched for welfare of the people. He said many new developmental projects have been started in the State which will be a turning point in its progress and development.
On the occasion MLC Sofi Yousf also announced Rs five lakh for the community hall out of his CDF and assured all help and support in solving the problems of the displaced people.
BJP general secretary (Org), Ashok Kaul highlighted the policies and programmes of the State coalition as well as Central Government led by Narendra Modi. He said the greatest success of the present Government is that there is accountability and transparency at all levels.
Others who spoke included BJP district president, Jammu Rural, Omi Khajuria,  displaced district president, Chand Ji Bhat,  ex Corporator, Sheela Handoo and Swami Divya Nand.
The welcome address was read by Makhan Lal Bhat president Durga Mandal.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Bharat Bushan Gosani general secretary Displaced District.
The meeting was attended by people from Durga Nagar, Dogra Nagar, Rajinder Nagar, Roop Nagar, Chinore, Purkhoo, Jagtri and other areas.
Earlier the leaders of BJP Displaced district highlighted the problems of the people of the area in general and displaced people in particular. They also presented a memorandum to MP highlighting the demands.
