JAMMU, Mar 13: A meeting of representatives of the 11 Universities /Deemed Universities of J&K State including Directors and Deputy Directors of Sports was held under the convenership of Prof. Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu to draw the fixtures of various games of the 1st State Universities Sports Championships, being organized by the University of Jammu from April 3 to April 9, 2017.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Nisar Ahmed Rather (Director Sports University of Kashmir), Dr. Sandeep Sehgal (SKUAST (J)), Dr. Seemi Lohani (SKUAST (K)), Dr. Yagendra Dixit (RSS Kotbhalwal), Rajiv Kumar & Ashok Kumar (SMVDU & SMVDSB), Dr. Vikas Srivastava (Central University Jammu, Mohammad Din (Dy. Director Sports, BGSBU Rajouri), Raj Kumar Bakshi, Ravish Vaid, Gagan Kumar, Vikas Karlopia, Dr. Brij Baloria, Ramesh Chander Sharma, Ramesh Magotra, PD Singh and Jai Bharat.
Threadbare discussions were held on the various matters related to the successful conduct of the above said championships besides the drawing of fixtures of different games of the championship which included Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton and Basketball.
