JU to ensure no entry of suspended students

JAMMU, Mar 25: To ensure that the suspended students may not enter the campus, Jammu University has asked all the students, scholars, employees and the public in general to bring their identity card with them while  the university campus.
According to an official spokesperson of JU,   entry of the suspended students has been banned in the Campus by the University Authorities and Police has also been informed accordingly.
Pertinent to mention that JU has suspended five students for their alleged involvement in ransacking of  the office of Dean Students Welfare on March 22, during a protest demonstration on the campus.
Meanwhile, supporting the efforts of Prof. Satnam Kaur as Dean Student’s Welfare for  setting  the system on track, Jammu University Teachers Association (JUTA) has   expressed its serious concern on the repeated incidents of making the system hostage by forcefully ceasing  the entry points of the campus by some students.
Maintaining that such act of vulgarity, vandalism and lawlessness is alien to the culture   of Jammu University and also to Jammu region, JUTA has called for all the stakeholders to discourage such thoughts, tendencies and people for the progress and growth of the university.
