JTC, SKF demand arrangement of free buses

JAMMU, May 15: A joint meeting Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held under the chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita president of two committees.
The meeting demanded transport facilities for the pilgrims of Mata Kheer Bhawani whose annual mela will be held on  June 2. The meeting said a large number of devotees from camp and non camp localities of Jammu are eager to perform the darshan at holy shrine at Tulmulla in Ganderbal district of Kahsmir valley on that day. It demanded that buses be provided to pilgrims from Jammu to holy shrine and back free of cost.
Shadi Lal Pandita said the pilgrims will leave from Jammu on June 1and stay at holy shrine on June 2. They will return next day to Jammu.
The meeting also demanded that the permission be granted to plying of private bus unions intending to run their services to Valley from May 30 to June 6 for carrying pilgrims. Besides, other arrangements of boarding and lodging as well as security be also made for pilgrims.
