JAMMU, Feb 19: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front at Jagti today held under the chairmanship of its president Shadi Lal Pandita has expressed concern over fresh registration of migrants.
Addressing the meeting Pandtia said that the registration process be stopped as the deserving Pandits who could not seek registration after the mass exodus when applied for the same later on were not considered by the then Screening Committee. He said when the genuine and bonafide people who had fled Kashmir during 1990 were not considered then whom the Government wants to benefit under fresh registration.
