JAMMU, Oct 30: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) in its meeting today has demanded deletion of M Forms for migrant voters and the Data forms lying in Relief Organization be taken as basis for the enrolment of migrants as voters.
The JTC which met under the chairmanship of its president Shadi Lal Pandita stressed on simplifying procedure for migrant voters so that all eligible people can cast their vote without any hindrance.
The meeting also demanded issuance of formal orders regarding enhancement of cash relief, implementation of employment package, restoration of land of shrines in Valley, compensation to orchardists and agriculturists, inclusion of migrants in flood relief list as well and settlement of community at three erstwhile districts of Baramulla, Srinagar and Anantnag.
