JAMMU, Nov 19: Jammu Province People’s Forum (JPPF), an amalgam of more than 50 social, commercial and other organizations, a united voice of Dogras and a common platform for all Sabhas, societies and business houses to raise their voice for development and welfare of the people of Jammu province.
JPPF delegation comprises of many organization under the leadership of Paviter Singh  the president of the Forum  met Divisional Commissioner Jammu,  MK Bhandari to discuss various developmental  issues and also to apprise him about the  resentment for not giving time to meet the interlocutor during his recent visit. While interacting  with the Divisional Commissioner  Paviter Singh told him that JPPF is a registered entity, a group of people drawn from all walks of life, i.e.  intellectuals, educationists, businessmen, social reformers, legal luminaries, former officers of repute, writers, journalists, heads of various communities etc  having  existence of more than seven  years  and has many feathers in its cap of social work done during theses years.
He further added that JPPF is the sole organization of the province working hard to bring all organizations of different shades on one platform to work for inclusive growth of the province. He also apprised him that not only JPPF is ignored but organizations like Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha J&K, Brahamin Sabha J&K, Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Jat Sabha, Pensioners Association and many other organizations of eminence were ignored.  Singh added that ignoring these big organizations will not only give wrong signal but will also dilute the purpose for which the interlocutors are interacting with the masses.
Bhandari told that due to paucity of the time limited number of deputations were allowed to meet but the process of interaction is on and in the next meeting all other organizations who could not meet this time shall be given time to interact with the team members and to share their valuable suggestions for the betterment of the State.
The delegation also referred to the  importance of various projects such as artificial lake, Gandola, inauguration of Maharaja Hari Singh ji Park, progress of AIIMS, holiday on Maharaja Hari Singh ji birth anniversary, Toll Tax, four laning of Jammu- Akhnoor Road, Plus 2 Lecturers’ regularization issues.
The delegation comprised of Narayan Singh, president Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha, MS Katoch working president JPPF, Inderjit Khajuria chairman AJHALA,  Avinash Bhatia, ML Sharma, Jagdish Sharma from Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Kamal Singh Jat Sabha,  Ajit Singh Adyal, ML Abrol Pensioners Association, Pushpinder Singh JJSF,  BK Sahney JPPF.
