JAMMU, Oct 22: Jammu Province Bank Employees Federation (JPBEF) observed lunch time demonstration at Shalimar Chowk against the negative attitude of Indian Bank Association (IBA) with regard to the wage revision of bank employees due since November 2012.
The representatives from all nationalized and non nationalized banks of the Jammu province assembled at Shalamar Chowk and raised slogans in favour of their demands.
While speaking, Arun Kumar Gupta, President, JPBEF said that IBA is not showing any seriousness in resolving the wage revision of bankers and adopting a dilly dallying attitude towards the genuine demands of the bank employees, as such United Forum of Bank employees decided to exhibit its dissatisfaction by holding today’s demonstration at all the State Capital and major centers of the country.
