JP World School wins U-14 title; TRJ Academy lifts U-17, 12 trophies

All India Football Tourney concludes

JAMMU, Oct 29: The three-day long All India National Football Tournament hosted by JP World School in collaboration TRJ Football Academy with support of Sports Saviours Foundation concluded today.
There was a fierce competition between the participants from different parts of India. The participants from all the three age categories—under12, 14, and 17 were at their best exhibiting the spirit of competition and enthusiasm.
The final match in the Under-14 category, which was held between JP World School Jammu and Punjab, was won by the JP World School by 2-0. In Under-17category, the players of JP World School and TRJ Academy fought neck to neck wherein TRJ Academy defeated JP World School in penalty shoot out. The Under-12 category final match was played between GD Goenka Public School, Jammu and TRJ Academy, in which TRJ Academy emerged the winner. All the teams fought hard amidst loud cheers from the audience, boosting up their spirit.
Senior students and teachers of JP World School gathered in the school playground to witness the finals of the tourney and cheer all the participants with positive zeal and energy.
The event was brightened up by the presence of the chief guest Choudhary Lal Singh Former Cabinet Minister and the guest of honour Arun Malhotra Former International Football Player. The chief guest appreciated all the players and congratulated the winners for their brilliant performance. Choudhary Lal Singh encouraged all those who could not script victory, to analyze their performance and practice harder. He also addressed the gathering and motivated the youth to show more active participation in sports.
The event ended with giving away of the trophies and medals to the winners and the participants by the chief guest and guest of honour in the presence of Ashok Singh Manhas, Managing Trustee of JP World School, Gaurav Abrol, MD MVIS, Rickey Kumar, Founder TRJ Academy, Jagdish Singh Dhami, Principal Heritage School, Nirmal Mahna, Principal DPS Kathua, KL Dogran, Principal, MVIS and Jitinder Singh Hundal, Principal JP World School.
The closing event which was compered by Priya Sharma, PGT English of JP World School culminated with National Anthem.
