JAMMU, May 5: JP World School Jammu held its sixth Sports Day and Prizes Distribution Function in its School premises, here today. Padma Shri, Balwant Thakur was the chief guest on the occasion.
The most spectacular event was the March Past wherein all the 700 students of the School participated.
The students also took part in all the track and field events, besides Mass PT.
The School Principal in his brief report highlighted the achievements of the school during the session 2012-2013.
A tug of war event was organized for ladies and the marathon for gents on the occasion.
The Chenab House won the overall trophy and Arif Hussain was declared the best athlete of the year.
