JMIC rejects bail plea of kidnappers

SAMBA, May 18: JMIC Samba has rejected the bail application of the kidnappers.
According to the case, a minor girl was kidnapped by the accused persons from the village Karandi, district Samba and a case under FIR Number 60/2016 under Sections 363 and 109 was registered against them at Police Station Samba.
“The court was conscious about the fact that the kidnapped girl has not been recovered till date and the main accused is absconding from the date of commission of crime. The accused persons are the residents of the State of  Punjab and it will become difficult for investigating agency to procure their presence for investigation purpose and will also become difficult to recover the victim. The accused are charged with such offences of huge magnitude and need of the hour is to unearth all necessary detail behind the offence to nab all the culprits and to repose the confidence of the general populace in the esteemed institution. For the reasons that have been discussed, the bail petition stands rejected”, said Munsiff Shabnam Sheikh.
For the State, Senior Prosecuting Officer Raj Kumar appeared in the Court.
