JMF flays Govt move on regularization

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Jan 28: Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) has termed the move of the Government in extending regularization of illegal construction as a serious lapse on the part of the Department, who were in authority to put a check.
JMF president and general secretary Shuja Zaffar has said that such act will not only encourage erosion of law but also will give bad name to system of checking and those responsible will go scot free.
The Front strongly oppose such action of Government where illegal is being conferred with legal, said Zaffar adding that such action erodes the basic principle of justice and gives credence to corrupt elements in the system.
The JMF has appealed the Chief Justice of the State High Court to view this move of the Government seriously and issue direction in this regard to punish all those during whose tenure such illegal constructions took place and who the departments were sitting like mute spectators.
