JMC team inspects slaughter houses, cattle pond

Jammu, July 27: A team of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) led by Commissioner JMC, Arvind Kotwal here today inspected different slaughter houses and cattle pond (where stray cattle are kept).
Other members of the team were Khushal Chand, Joint Commissioner (Works) and Dr. Zaffar Iqbal, Municipal Veterinary Officer.
The slaughter house of Gujjar Nagar (Halal) and Dogra Hall (Jhatka) were asked to lay tiles, use stainless hooks, repairs the fans and other   modern technology through scientific methods and take care of hygiene.
At Dogra Hall Cattle Pond the inspecting team gave instructions for repairing of stray horse shed and pipe line of drinking water besides making partition in the shed through railing.
Instructions for properly using the cow dung as Vermi compost and sell the same in open market were also issued.
The JMC Commissioner also issued instructions for planting the trees for good atmosphere of the animals as well human beings at Cattle Pond Dogra Hall.
