JMC officer suspended for accepting bribe

JAMMU, Apr 17: Ashok Kumar, Enforcement Officer, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) was placed under suspension and an enquiry ordered against him by JMC Commissioner, Ramesh Kumar, for allegedly accepting bribe.
The action was taken against the Enforcement Officer after a video found viral on social media depicting him taking bribe from someone. Rishpal Singh, Joint Commissioner (A), JMC shall hold an enquiry in the matter and will submit the findings within the stipulated time frame.
