JAMMU, Apr 19: Jammu Municipal Corporation today conducted an intensive drive against illegal hoardings and Rehries/Pharies.
During the drive the team removed about 35 illegal Rehries plying in the restricted areas and without obtaining license from JMC causing traffic congestions in the area. The team also cleared illegal Pharies, hoardings, banners from different rotaries and other parts of Jammu city.
The team of Revenue Officers, alongwith field staff, on the instructions of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation Dr. Manmohan Singh and under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner (Rev), JMC, Vinakshi Koul, visited various areas of Jammu city viz CPO Chowk, Panjtirthi, Indira Chowk, Shalamar Road, BC Road, Railway Station, Trikuta Nagar, Park near fourth bridge Bhagwati Nagar Jammu.
