JKTF discusses demands, hopes for early redressal

UDHAMPUR, July 27: A meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) was held under the chairmanship of Surinder Sharma, district president, wherein they discussed their pending demands and hoped that Government will redress these at an earliest.
Rajesh Sharma, provincial vice president appealed the Government for release of 10% DA in favour of Government employees and also release of funds for the fourth installment of 6th Pay Commission.
While speaking, Sharma stressed to the Education Department for release of salary on 2nd of every month. He also demanded for release of funds in favour of the employees working under SSA and RMSA schemes without any further delay.
Other speakers strongly demanded for release of funds under Mid Day Meal Scheme and also demanded framing of transfer norms and avoiding pick and choose policy in transfers.
Other present on the occasion were Sanjay Baria, Ram Prasad, Kewal Krishan, Chaman Lal, Satvir Choudhary, Ravinder Tripati, Vijay Sharma etc.
