JKSSC’s SFA launches two more football units

RAJOURI/POONCH, Apr 5: Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council (JKSSC) run State Football Academy (SFA) launched two more district football units of SFA at Rajouri and Poonch districts respectively.
The district football unit (SFA) Rajouri was launched by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajouri, Dr. Shahid Iqbal who was the chief guest while Principal Government Post Graduate College, Javed Qazi was the guest of honour. Advocate Tazeem Dar was also present on the occasion.
While presiding over the event, Dr. Shahid Iqbal termed sports as the best medium to channelize the energy of youth towards positive direction and assured every possible support and cooperation to SFA from administration as well.
Tazeem Dar appreciated the initiatives of JKSSC and Secretary Sports for availing professional academy in Rajouri as well.
The ceremony in Rajouri was supervised by the Head Coach SFA, Stapal Singh and SFA Head Coach Rajouri, Mohammad Bilal.
Meanwhile, district football unit of SFA Poonch was launched by DDC Poonch, Aijaz Asad Choudhary as the chief guest on occasion while as Sub-Judge Special Mobile Magistrate, Adnan Sayeed was guest of honour. The launch was also witnessed by Incharge Manager DCC Poonch, Nirdhous Sharma, and Retired ZPEO, Shashi Bhushan.
On this occasion, Aijaz Asad Choudhary appreciated Secretary Sports, Waheed-Ur-Rehman Para for such initiative which will bear fruits in long run.
The initiative is supported by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) with which the SFA academies are fully registered.
