JKSAC urges Govt for early disbursement of package

KATHUA, Jan 9: Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) held a meeting here today, which was attended by DPs of 1947 from PoK from all the adjoining villages.
The participants urged upon the Government to issue the notification at the earliest to end the confusion created by vested interested elements since the Ministry of Home Affairs has already accorded approval to expedite the procedure for disbursement of the package. The DPs in the meeting further reiterated that the Government must designate powers to Tehsildars of the all the districts of Jammu region to accept and verify the records for making the disbursement process more easy and transparent.
While clarifying doubts raised by participants regarding various important and pressing issues,  particularly pertaining to documents required for the submission of application form for disbursement of the instant package, Gurdev Singh,  president JKSAC apprised them that as assured by Div  Comm. and PRO Jammu on behalf of Government,  only one document is required for their identification i.e. Form-”A” or Loan Ledger or Nominal Roll or “D”-Form along with copy of State Subject Certificate / Aadhar Card and Bank Branch number and  code.  He said that the position would be cleared once the notification is issued.
Those who spoke in the meeting, included  Harjeet Singh Wazir, Gyani Harjit Singh, Dwarka Nath Khajuria, Vakil Singh, Hari Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Tajinder Singh and Deval Prakash Lobana.
