J&K’s Rajinder, Pradeep to represent India in 7th Pars Cup

JAMMU, June 23: Rajinder Singh, bronze medallist in the 14th World Wushu Championship in Kazan-2017 and Pradeep Kumar, bronze medallist in the SAF Games have been selected to represent India in the 7th Pars Cup Iran from today to June 26, 2018.
The 14-member Indian team was sanctioned by the Sports Authority of India at the cost of Government.
Rajinder Singh recently secured silver medal in the Asia Cup at Guangzhou (China) and thus has qualified for the World Cup to be held in China in the month of November 2018. He has also won silver medal in the 9th Asian Wushu Championship at Taipei in 2016.
Pradeep Kumar is already in the Asian Games national coaching camp at SAI Bhopal. The team left for Iran on June 22 and will arrive on June 27, 2018.
The chief coach of India Kuldeep Handoo along with the office bearers of Wushu Association of J&K lauded the efforts of players for this achievement.
