SRINAGAR, Dec 27: Zonal Level Sports Festival 2017, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police commenced at Gindun Stadium Rajbagh, here.
The Festival was inaugurated by father of martyr Feroz Ahmad Dar namely Abdul Rahim Dar in presence of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG), Ghulam Hasan Bhat, SSP Budgam, Tejinder Singh, SSP PCR Srinagar, Shahid Mehraj, SP City South, Asish Mishra, SP Hazratbal, Amod Nagpure, SP Hq Srinagar, Khalil Ahmad Poswal, SO to DIG CKR, Shabir Nawab and other senior police officers.
In the festival, the different tournaments including Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Tug-of-War, Athletics and Martial Arts.
A huge gathering of sports lovers was present on the opening ceremony of the festival.
