JKPMA takes up problems with Chief Commissioner CGST

JAMMU, July 5: JK Pharmaceutical Manufactu-rers’ Association (JKPMA) today highlighted the problems being faced by pharmaceutical units with Manoranjan Kour Virk, Chief Commissioner, CGST, Chandigarh Zone.
The issues were taken up during an interactive session organized today by JKPMA in honour of the Chief Commissioner, CGST, Chandigarh Zone. Gyan Sarvar, Commissioner, CGST, Jammu and other officials of department were also present on the occasion.
During the interactive session, the Association members highlighted the problems being faced by pharmaceutical units situated in the State in respect of budgetary support under IGST, inspections of eligible units for the re-imbursement under Notification Number FNo 10(I)/2017-DBA-II/NER dated 05-10-2017.
“In order to help the manufacturing sector for supporting the cash flow requirement there is need for self credit mechanism as was available in the pre GST Era”, the association members said and emphasized the need to take up the issue with concerned authorities.
The Chief Commissioner, CGST, Chandigarh Zone gave a patient hearing to the issues highlighted by the president and assured them to resolve their issues on priority basis.
The other member present during the interactive session was Pardeep Jain, general secretary,  Gajendra Kumar, secretary, JS Manocha, treasurer and Anil Gupta, executive member.
