He said that it was a prestigious project and would have irrigated around 40,000 Kanals of land in Sunderbani Sub-Division. “Besides a filtration plant of over 12 crores was conceived from Beri-Pattan and was in the pipeline in view of acute shortage of drinking water in the Kangri, Bajabain, Thichka, Changi and Bhaenigala-Kuldabbi area but nothing moved there after in this regard,” he added .
He also expressed concern over the deplorable condition of the various important link roads like  Bhajwal-Siot Road, Bajora- Thickka-Siot Road, Marchola-Saleri Road, Devak- Deoli-Thangriote Road, Makole Mandir to Bhata Tala Road and Bagnoti-Nala Road.
Mr Sharma said that the failures to take up Nala-Dabbar Bridge, Nonial to Rajpur Bhata link Road and Kangri-Chhani link Road is also the issue of great concern.
He said only selective approach has been adopted during the previous regime, while most deserving areas have been neglected in the matter of development especially up gradation of road connectivity, adding  that people face great hardship due to very poor condition of most of the roads, which need immediate repairs and up-gradations.
