JAMMU, Mar 25: The Award Committee of Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association (JKOA) met today under the Chairmanship of S Ravinder Singh and shortlisted the players and coaches of the State for Rangil Singh Award for Sports Excellence.
The members who attended the meeting included Dushyant Sharma, President JKOA, Prof Ashutosh Sharma, General Secretary, Ajay Sharma, Kuldip Gupta, Vikram Hnada, Ramesh Chander, BS Thirthi, Kuldeep Handoo and Vikas Gupta.
The shortlisted sportspersons include Sahil Sharma (Wrestling), Anil Wadhera (Boxing), Randhir Singh (Cricket), Krupali Singh (Gymnastics), Raya Bakshi (Fencing), Sohan Singh (Athletics), Shotu Lal (Fencing), Shreya Gupta (Fencing), Amardeep Singh (Football), Nirmal Kumar (Mountaineering), Shivani Charak (Mountaineering), Meenal Gupta (Chess), Hiteshwar Singh (Rollball), Bilal Ahmed Dar (Cycling), Palak Kour (Gymnastics), Sunil Dev Singh (Kho-Kho) and Mohd Tariq (Volleyball).
